The Southern Comfort

Established in 2005. We started as "Special Event Coordination & Catering by, Sublime" at a wedding reception in December 2005. After a few years of catering, Sublime wasn't ready to take on catering full time so we decided to go our separate ways. Fast forward to 2007, Shawanna began catering for different events in the NY, NJ and CT areas. It didn't take long for me to realize that catering was actually my passion so I decided to make it official; and that's when The Southern Comfort was formed. Soul Food. Cajun & Creole cooking.
