Ellis Isle’s been on the scene since 2008, but the original family tea recipe? That spans back centuries. All the way back to when Pop Ellis first worked it up. And while he was happy to share his refreshing Jamaican tea with anyone who was thirsty, he made it clear his recipe was to be “sold, not told.” Fast forward to today, that secret recipe is still in the family. We can’t spill the juiciest details, but there’s no sense in hiding where all the flavor comes from. We use only real, natural hibiscus, rosehips, honey and mint. Just like Pop Ellis would. Because at Ellis Isle, we know for something to taste just right, it has to be made just right, too. At Ellis Isle, we’re all about being all-natural. That’s why we only use simple, real ingredients to make drinks that are flavorful, refreshing and worry-free. With Wet Shuga, we’re going even further by swapping traditional cane sugar for totally clean, cold-pressed cane juice. It’s a naturally sweet alternative that’s full of antioxidants and electrolytes. As Ellis Isle grows, it’s our goal to keep innovating and see what other delicious, nutritious recipes we can make with this healthy new ingredient.
