Chapman’s Jewelry was founded in 1964 by Eli Chapman in Detroit, MI. A WWII army veteran and married father of six, Eli was a Detroit bus driver, semi-pro basketball player, and serial entrepreneur. He dabbled in many fields before finding his niche in fine jewelry. As business grew, Eli relied on his four sons to expand Chapman’s Jewelry reach, opening stores on Detroit’s East and West side. Eli believed in customer service, long-lasting business relationships, and supplying a quality product. Values that still govern our business today. More than 50 years since its inception we are pleased to carry on Eli’s legacy in life and in business.
